2004-11-12 [teptep]: only if the artist, is in your opinion deserving of the title, no stick figure art, no cut and past jobs. simply we are looking for the best of the best artists, people whom even if there not super skilled show originality and creativity, someone whom participates in elftowns contests and over all has a good atitude about this site, I don't wanna see people in here if there over all message is fuck you or fuck off, for they do not show an atitude that represents the best of the best.

2004-11-15 [Paul Doyle]: Wow---I'm really surprised. I've only been drawing actively since June 2003, and have had zero training outside of high school (1987-1991). I write on the side, and do the artwork on the side when I'm not writing---wow. I don't feel worthy being here, seeing how most of the people on here do more art in a month than I do in a year, have plenty of formal training, and even make some money off of it. But I am grateful, and hope this wasn't a fluke. I do try when I do my art, however limited the output may be, and as amateur as it is :)

2004-11-17 [teptep]: true but all these people here represent elftown, they participate they help out with advice, incuragement, they show what it is to be a true artist, there are a few missing wich I will add when I come across them, however there is no limit to whom is best of the best, it is all about true artistic talent, people whom don't belong here are people whom arn't inspired, people whom gloat about there work being better then others, provoke people because there skills arn't up to par with there own.

I mean, tis good to be humble, but total denial is almost an insult to the people who would die to get that talent...
